  • Attendance at the PAR Board of Directors meetings;

  • Commitment to participate actively and dedicate time as needed for PAR activities; and

  • Support PAR projects and committees, and volunteering at PAR and school events.

If interested, please submit the following information to PAR@par-rochambeau.org by the end of May.

  • Interest for sitting on the PAR Board of Directors and what you hope to accomplish

Please submit this information in French and English, not to exceed a page.

The list of submitted candidates and their write-ups will be shared with PAR members by email. The vote will take place online in early June. Each family that is a member of PAR will be invited to vote for a maximum of five candidates from the list (one vote per family).

We would like to remind you that Parents Association Rochambeau (PAR) is an independent association with a 501(c)(3) designation incorporated in the state of Maryland in 2009. PAR is a voluntary member organization that families with children enrolled at Rochambeau chose to join by paying their annual dues. As a member of the Board of Directors, you knowingly and willingly assume full legal and fiduciary responsibilities as governed by the PAR bylaws, the state of Maryland, and the Internal Revenue Service. We thank you for your consideration and look forward to receiving your submissions. Should you have any questions, please send us an email at PAR@par-rochambeau.org.
